Description Paz en La Vina, commemorative poster by Virginia Cobos Fritz, expresses the beauty of the Bernalillo Rio Grande Valley in her unique style of impressionism. I paint the landscape of a place as I see and feel it, with tenderness and a touched heart. Ms. Cobos Fritz is a native of Costa Rica. After spending twenty-five years of her adult life in Mexico, she and her husband move to Albuquerque. Her love of the landscape kept her in New Mexico after the death of her husband. Her work is shown in galleries throughout Albuquerque and Mexico as well as in consulates and embassies in New Mexico, throughout Latin America, and in Italy.
