Filomeno Martinez is a native New Mexican, born and raised in the Albuquerque South Valley. Works by Filomeno Martinez have been shown in galleries from Taos to Albuquerque. He has placed in the top three winning categories in the New Mexico State Fair Fine Arts and Hispanic Galleries on a regular basis since 1982, receiving the Best of Show honor in 2000.
